A stunning and vivid Art Deco era emerald and diamond engagement ring. The green is incredible, the classic bright green you think which comes to mind with emeralds. The round cut emerald is set in a square shape platinum setting, held in each corner with three beaded claws. Set in channels down the shoulders are single cut diamonds which are graduated in size, following the design of the ring. Ridges form a divide between the top and bottom of the shank. This beauty dates to the late Art Deco, circa mid to late 1930s.
In excellent condition.
Emerald: round cut, dark green in colour, measuring approx 5.6 mm and calculated as 0.75 carats within the limits of the mounting. As is normal for emeralds, it does show signs of enhancement.
Diamonds: 6, single cut totally approx 0.12 carats, G/H colour, SI clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Stamped 10% IRID PLAT, professionally tested and assessed as platinum.
Size: UK - K.5; US - 5.5; EU - 16,1. This ring can be sized between J / 4.75 / 15,5 and M.5 / 6.5 / 16,9. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 6.4 mm wide on the finger and rises 6 mm off the finger, shoulders are 3.7 mm wide tapering to 1.85 mm wide at back centre.
