Victorian 18 carat gold keeper ring. This lovely ring is crafted as a set of braided wires, three rows wide across the top, with a small dot where the wires cross. The tri wire design continues all the way around the band. With crisp, deep hallmarks to the 1890s this is a wonderful piece! Circa 1890s, British in origin.

There is a line in the side, not visible from the top when worn, please see photos.

Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1896. The colour is closer to modern yellow gold than rose gold, but like most British antique gold, it has a hint of rose to it.

Size: UK - K.5; US - 5.5; EU - 15,1. Sizes taken from centre. This ring has been resized smaller in the past, and the solder line from that resizing is visible, it is not recommended for sizing any smaller. It can be sized larger, up to P / 7.75 / 18. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 7.25 mm wide by 2.5 mm deep at front, tapering to 3.6 mm at back centre.

Weighs 4.2 grams.
