Vintage opal and white gold chain necklace. Though delicate, this piece is stunning! Five opal beads are set on a 9 carat (tested) gold chain. The front half of this necklace is designed with a repeating pattern of an opal followed by three tapered diamond shape links. Each of these links is stylishly designed with faceted sides and an open section in the centre. The back section of this chain is a plain and simple trace chain which secures with a spring bolt clasp. This piece dates to the late Art Deco era, 1930s - 1940s.

Opals: round beads, fully drilled to allow them to be strung. 5 total, each approx 4.8 mm.

Stamped 9ct on the clasp. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat white gold throughout.
