Antique amethyst beaded chain necklace in the most wonderful design! This is such an easy to wear piece. On it's own, it provides a substantial pop of colour and it's a great length to layer with other chains and necklaces. A curb style chain is evenly spaced with round bright purple amethyst beads. The beads are fully drilled with gold wire running through them. This chain secures with a simple spring bolt clasp. Circa early 20th century.

Amethyst: 7 round beads measuring between 5.5 mm and 6.1 mm each.

Stamped 9k on the clasp, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold through. The gold is yellow in colour.

Measures approx 49.5 cm / 19.5 inches end to end. 6.1 mm wide at widest point, 1.7 mm wide at chain.
