Art Deco sapphire panel ring. This octagonal shaped ring is set with three rows of alternating synthetic blue sapphires and white spinels. The three blue sapphires are square in shape and step cut, each set in their own milgrain lined bezel at a slope up the finger. To the top and bottom are two bead set white spinels. The top is lined in milgrain beading around the edges and between the gemstones. The white shoulders step down leading to a gold shank which is D shape in profile. Circa 1930s, British in origin.
This ring looks to be in like new condition!
Synthetic sapphires: 3, square shape, step cut, approx 2.4 mm each.
Synthetic spinels: 4, round cut, approx 1.25 mm each.
Stamped 18ct & PT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the edge around the gemstones in platinum.
Size: UK - M; US -6.25; EU - 16,75. This ring can be resized between K / 5.25 / 15,8 and Q / 8.25 / 18,3. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 8.8 mm wide by 3.2 mm deep. 2 mm wide band.
Weighs 2.6 grams.
