Sapphire and diamond panel ring dating to the Art Deco era. Two rectangle dark blue sapphires are set together and lined in a double row of milgrain beading. A slender band, which widen at the back, is topped in platinum near the gemstones to give the appearance of being all white metal. Circa 1930s, British in origin with a maker's mark of HS, possibly for H Samuel's.
