What a unicorn of a find! This large antique silver unicorn fob is wonderful crafted. It's coat is textured and long locks of hair are carved down it's neck. This is just such a beautiful and unique piece. To the base is an engraved set of initials reading HM in a Gothic capital script. This would have been used to make an impression into wax to seal an envelope. This fob dates to the early 19th century, Georgian era.

In superb condition.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver.

Measures 30.3 mm / 1.20 inches in height and 16.9 mm / 0.65 inches by 14 mm / 0.55 inches at base.

Weighs 18.6 grams.
