Chunky antique curb chain converted into a double strand bracelet. This chain would have originally been made for and worn with a gentleman's pocket watch. During it's century long plus life it's been re-arranged to make a double strand bracelet. The curb links are all the same size with each stamped with the lion for silver. One end terminates with a large jump ring and the other with a large dog clip. Circa late 19th century, British in origin.
Hallmarked for sterling silver on the dog clip, London assay office, date letter for 1892.
Measures approx 17.5 cm / 7 inches wearable length. Curb links are 4.25 mm wide per strand.
Weighs 15.4 grams.
