What a link! It's a beauty, chunky and elegant, a perfect example of an antique anchor link. The sterling silver mariner links are connected by elongated oval, plain links. One end terminates in a large silver dog clip and the other in a rounded jump ring. This sterling bracelet has likely been made from a longer Victorian watch chain. It's a medium length bracelet at 19 c, and could be paired with another chain to extend it, wonderfully dual purpose! Circa turn of the 20th century, British in origin.

Faint worn marks on the dog clip and terminating jump ring. Professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver throughout.
Measures approx 19 cm / 7.5 inches end to end. This is a medium length, shown on a 16 cm / 6.25 inch wrist.
Anchor links are approx 10.7 mm long by 8.1 mm wide. Dog clip is approx 23.5 mm long by 8.4 mm wide.
Weighs 22.9 grams.
