Antique wide 18ct engraved wedding ring. This late 19th century ladies wedding band is adorned with beautiful foliate engraving. Ivy leaves are engraved, alternating pointing different ways, around the centre of the ring. To the top and bottom, framing the ivy pattern, is a scalloped edge. This is a very wide band with a lightly domed shape and a flat interior. Circa 1890s, British in origin.

Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Chester, date letter for 1896.

Size: UK - K; US -5.25; EU - 15,9. Size taken from centre. This ring is not suitable for resizing. Resizing would disrupt the pattern.

Measures approx 6.9 mm wide by 1.15 mm deep.
