Beautiful tourmaline and diamond cocktail ring dating to the mid 20th century. The light green colour tourmaline is marquise cut and set horizontally across the finger. The diamonds frame the tourmaline in a graduated design with five round brilliant cut diamonds to the top and bottom with smaller round pave set diamonds in the shank. The gemstones are set into a platinum top with the undercarriage and shank in 18 carat white gold. This ring has been made Alabaster & Wilson and dates to the 1940s - 1950s, British in origin.

Tourmaline: marquise cut, approx 8.1 mm by 4.55 mm.

Diamonds: 10, round brilliant cut, approx 1.9 mm each, 0.29 carats together. 4 at approx 1.7 mm each, 0.08 carats together. 4 at approx 1.3 mm each, 0.04 carats together. Total diamond weight, calculated as setting permits is 0.41.

Marked 18ct & Pt. This ring is mostly 18 carat white gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.

Size: UK - O; US - 7 1/4; EU - 17 1/2. This ring can be sized down to L / 5.75 and is not recommended for sizing lager. Sizing available for an additional fee.
