Vintage baguette diamond wedding ring made for a set. Baguettes are one of my absolute favourite cuts! I have a tapered baguette engagement ring and I know how difficult it can be to find the right coordinating band for it. This platinum ring holds two tapered baguette cut diamonds which are bar set at their ends giving it a sleek appearance. The cut out between the diamonds is slightly squared off in shape, maybe to accommodate the triple claw style so popular in this era. A simple band follows the shape of the diamonds, tapering toward the back of the band. Circa mid 20th century.
Diamonds: 2 tapered cut baguettes of approx 4.25 mm by 1.5 mm tapering to 1.3 mm, approx 0.10 carats each to total 0.20 carats together, G / H colour, VS clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting. mm, 0.07 - 0.08 carats each to total 0.15 carats together, G / H colour, VS clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Stamped 10% IRID PLAT, professionally tested and assessed as platinum.
Size: UK - K; US - 5.25; EU - 16. This ring can be sized between J / 4.75 / 15,5 and L.5 / 6 / 16,5. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 2.8 mm wide by 2.75 mm deep at the diamonds, band 1.5 mm at back centre. Diamonds & dip are approx 13.7 mm long. Stepped section is approx 4.3 mm wide by 1.5 mm deep.
