Stunning mid century white spinel engagement ring. A bright and shiny synthetic spinel sparkles from it's eight claw setting. The prongs are delicate, arching over in a buttercup style to meet the engraved mounting. Little engraved baguette designs slope down the shoulders terminating at the yellow gold shank. The band is 9 carat yellow gold, D shape in profile. Circa 1940s, British in origin.
Spinel: white, round cut, assumed synthetic. Measures approx 5.6 mm which is roughly the size of a 0.70 carat diamond.
Stamped 9ct & SIL, professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver top with a 9 carat gold shank.
Size: UK - M 1/2; US - 6 1/2; EU - 17. This ring can be sized between L / 6 and R.5 / 9. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 8.55 mm wide and rises 6.25 mm tall off the finger.
