Vintage diamond engagement ring. This single stone diamond is set into an uniquely shaped engraved band. The diamond is set into an engraved diamond cut collet. This makes the diamond appear larger in size and protects it. A tapered shape is adorned with engraved beads which are graduated in size. The edges of the shoulders are shaped like the fletching of an arrow. The very top of this ring, around the diamond and on the engraved shoulders, is platinum, while the band is yellow gold. This is a lovely, pretty, and very unique diamond solitaire engagement ring. Circa 1930s - 1940s, British in origin.

Stamped 18ct, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold.
