Gorgeous sapphire and diamond flower shaped vintage ring. This ring, crafted in 18 carat gold, features a bright blue round cut sapphire. Framing the sapphire are six bead set sparkling diamonds. The setting edge dips in, curving around the diamond giving this ring a real floral look. Beaded and engraved shoulders slope up to meet the gemstone cluster. The top of this ring is platinum with a gold collet and band. Circa mid 20th century.
In very good condition, no issues to note.
Sapphire: blue, round cut, approx 3.1 mm, calculated as 0.11 carats within the limits of the mounting.
Diamonds: 6, single cut of approx 1.75 mm to total approx 0.12 carats together, near colourless and eye clean as assessed within the limits of the mounting.
Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, date letter for 1960 making this ring over 60 years old.
Size: UK - M; US - 6.25; EU - 16,7. This ring can be sized between H.5 / 4 / 14,8 and R.5 / 9 / 19. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 8.1 mm wide by 3.3 mm deep at sapphire, 1.6 mm wide band.
