This is the most exquisite vintage sapphire and diamond filigree ring! It's just incredible! A bright blue sapphire is bezel set in the centre of a pierced, filigree design which reminds me of a snowflake. Four small bezel set diamonds are set up against the sapphire and these diamonds connect the to the outer frame with undulates and is set with eight diamonds. At over 12.6 mm, this ring has the presence on the finger making it a great dinner or cocktail ring. A slender gold band pinches near the gemstone set top, widening slightly toward the base of the finger. Circa 1930s - 1950s, British in origin.
Sapphire: round cut, approx 3.8 mm, calculated as 0.38 carats within the limits of the mounting.
Diamonds: 12, a combination of old European cut and single cut totalling 0.18 carats together, near colourless and eye clean as calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Stamped 18ct, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.
Size: UK - Q; US - 8.25; EU - 18,3. This ring can be sized between I.5 / 4.5 / 15,3 and V / 10.5 / 20,2. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 12.65 mm across the top by 4.6 mm deep, 1.7 mm wide band.
