Vintage sapphire and diamond engagement ring. This early 20th century engagement ring is set with a cornflower blue square cut sapphire in a delicate milgrain edged bezel. Around the sapphire is an engraved beaded design which is set with 4 small roughly cut bead set diamonds. The top of this ring is engraved with little beads which sparkle and catch the light. The band is narrow toward the top, widening to a D shape profile shank. Circa 1910 - 1920s, British in origin.
Sapphire: light cornflower blue, approx 2.6 mm.
Diamonds: 4, roughly cut.
Stamped 9ct & PT. This ring is tested and assessed as mostly 9 carat gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
Size: UK - M; US - 6 1/4; EU - 16 3/4. This ring can be sized between K.5 / 5.5 and Q / 8.25. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 7.65 mm by 9.35 mm on the finger and stands 2.55 mm tall off the finger.
Weighs 1.9 grams.
