Platinum filigree diamond engagement ring. This Art Deco era diamond ring is set with an old cut diamond in a square shaped setting framed in a double row of milgrain beading. Flanking the centre diamond are two smaller bead set old cut diamonds. The beautiful hand crafted filigree work of this ring is immediately obvious. Incredible pierced and engraved floral style designs flow around the sides approx a quarter of the way around the band. A further engraved wreath pattern adorns all three sides leaving just a small blank section at the very back. It's very rare for us to find a filigree ring in such amazing condition! Circa mid 1920s - 1930s.

Diamonds: 5 total. Centre has a GIA certificate and is stated as: 5.45 - 5.56 mm, 0.61 carats, H colour, VS2 clarity. Four accent diamonds are single cut / eight cut and total approx 0.05 carats. Total weight estimated as setting permits is 0.66 carats.

Stamped PLATINUM, this ring is tested and assessed as platinum.

Size: UK - L; US - 5 7/8; EU - 16.4. This ring can be sized 1.5 UK size / 0.75 US size either way. Due to the delicate nature of filigree, further resizing is not recommended.
