A wonderful late Art Deco era etched wedding ring in platinum.  This ring has been crafted in platinum and faceted to make it octagonal in shape.  Each of the flatter side is engraved with an outstanding wreath pattern.  Between each of the flat sides is a soft point which is unadorned.  The space in the pattern makes the pattern more pronounced.  This is a narrow ring at less than 2 mm and would make a great ring to stack with another ring.  Circa 1940s, British in origin.  Marked for maker WG & S, which is William Greenwood & Sons, a jeweller during the first half of the 20th century.

Size: UK - N 1/2;  US - 7;  EU - 54 1/2.  This ring looks to have been resized in the past.  One of the engraved sections is longer than the others, and this has been pictured.

Measures 1.9 mm wide and rises 1.75 mm tall on finger.
