Vintage moonstone and paste halo ring. This ring has the look! A lovely cabochon cut moonstone is bezel set into a silver top which is lined in milgrain beading. Around the edge are 12 sparkly diamond like paste stones. We were surprised when we handled it to know it wasn't diamonds! The moonstone is a silvery-white colour when light is passing through it and on the finger it really comes to life showing off lovely blue adularescence. The moonstone and paste stones are set into silver on a narrow 9 carat yellow gold which widens slightly toward the back. Circa 1930s - 1940s, British in origin.
