Vintage 9 carat rose gold pin. This wonderful bar brooch is just the thing and has a number of uses! It would have originally been a tie pin and is still perfectly suited for that purpose. We've also seen this style being worn as a collar pin in a television show by the baddie. Women could easily style it as a shawl or scarf pin and they are increasingly useful to combine chains, charms and pendants to wear. Circa mid 20th century, British in origin.
In great condition.
In the group photo, this is the centre pin. Other pins shown are available separately.
Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham 1957. The gold is yellow in colour.
