Vintage cultured pearl and diamond drop earrings. This is a very unique and attractive pair of earrings. A graduated lined of cultured pearls, oval at the bottom becoming rounded at the top, is punctuated by a single old cut diamond. The gemstones are held in 9 carat white gold mounts and are articulated at the top where they are attached to the ear wires. Circa early to mid 20th century, 1920s - 1940s.

Pearls: cultured, 10 total, 5 on each earring. Graduate from 3 mm round to 4.5 mm by 5.4 mm oval.

Diamonds: old cut, 2 total, 1 on on each earring. Approx 2.45 mm each, 0.13 carats together, near colourless and eye clean.

Stamped 9ct on the back of one of the earrings, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout, which is white in colour.

Measure approx 35 mm / 1.4 inches in length by 5 mm wide.

Weigh 3.4 grams together, approx 1.7 grams each.
