Vintage garnet drop earrings. These earrings are a marriage with the garnet set oval centres being added to the ornate frames at a later date. Each of the garnets is oval in shape, match very well, and are set with little pointed claws into a bezel shaped setting. Around the garnets is an intricately pierced frame of scrolls. At the top of each earring is a simple kidney shaped ear wire.

These earrings have been made from two pieces at some point. The joins can be seen on the backside.

Garnets: 2, oval cut, approx 8 mm by 6 mm.

Not marked, tested and assessed as 9 carat gold.

Measure approx 2.9 cm / 1.15 inches long by 1.35 cm / 0.53 inches wide.

Weigh 3 grams.
