Beautiful engagement ring. Leaf shaped platinum topped mounts are each set with three single cut diamonds. The leaves are lined in milgrain beading and between them sits a large blue lab-created sapphire. The round cut synthetic sapphire sparkles nicely from it's eight claw setting. A D shape profile gold band completes the look. This is a lovely and sizeable ring which would make a great engagement ring. Circa 1930s - 1940s, British in origin.

Sapphire: lab-created, measures approx 7.75 mm wide, approx 1.6 carats as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Diamonds: 6, approx 0.09 carats total weight.

Stamped 18ct PLAT. Professionally tested as 18 carat gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
