Pretty vintage three stone sapphire and diamond engagement ring.  Set in the centre in a simple crown style setting is a round brilliant cut diamond.  Flanking the diamond are stunning cornflower blue sapphires.  Sapphires and diamonds are a beautiful combination and this ring makes it easy to see why!  The sapphires are a wonderful slightly lighter shade of blue.  The gemstones are set in white gold and the narrow band is yellow gold.  This ring is set very low to the finger making it easy to wear.  Circa 1940s - 1950s, European in origin.

Diamond: round brilliant, calcualted in setting as 0.22 carats, I / J colour, I1 clarity.

Sapphires: 2, round cut, cornflower blue in colour.  Approx 3.2 mm each and total 0.33 carats together, calculated as setting permits.

Hallmarks very worn and mostly illegible.  Tested as 18 carat gold.

Size: UK - L 1/2;  US - 6;  EU - 52.  This ring cannot be made any smaller, and can be made several sizes larger.  Sizing is available for an additional fee.

Measures 4.3 mm wide and rises 3.45 mm tall on the finger.

Weighs 1.7 grams.
