Vintage carre cut diamond full eternity wedding ring. Thirty-three diamonds are channel set all the way around the outside of this band. Set into each side of this ring are small full cut diamonds, 24 on each side.The diamonds are pave set into a U style shape. This ring has a pierced design between each of the small diamonds and a diamond shape lattice design to the inside of the ring. This ring is a beautiful, substantial ring and could be used as an eternity ring, wedding band, or stand-alone ring. Dates to the mid 20th century.
Two of the side diamonds, one on each side, have had their setting touched up using white gold solder rather than platinum solder. We've shown this in the photos. It doesn't appear visible to the unaided eye.
Diamonds: 33 carre cut, approx 1.6 mm each, 1 carat total weight, G / H colour, a couple have small chips in line with age and wear, the rest are VS clarity. 48 round full cut diamonds, approx 0.12 carats together.
Marked PLAT for Platinum and tested as such.
Size: UK - I; US - 4.3; EU - 15.2. This ring cannot be resized.
Measures approx 3.3 mm wide and rises 2.25 mm tall off the finger.
Weighs 3.55 grams.
