Vintage Diamond Engagement Ring. Classic 0.27 ct Single Stone Solitaire 18ct 18k Gold.Add to Wishlist
Timeless and classic solitaire diamond engagement. A transitional cut diamonds is set in an eight prong setting. The diamond is held aloft in rex or crown style claws. The shoulders are flat and quickly slope away from the diamond, keeping the diamond the main attraction. The white gold top of the shoulders keeps the diamond looking white rather than picking up too much colour from the setting. From the side view little inset swirls of yellow gold can be seen under the shoulders. This ring dates to about the 1940s and is likely European in origin.
