Elegant early round brilliant cut diamond ring dating to the late Art Deco era to mid 20th century. An 0.66 carat diamond is set low in fishtail style triple claw prongs. Sloping down the shoulders are six eight cut / single cut diamonds, three on each side. The accent diamonds are set in a tapered style down to a knife edge shank which continues around the band. Circa 1940s - 1950s.

This diamond displays longer lower pavilion facets, a larger table, and a lower crown while still having an open culet. This cutting style has a great display of white light.

Diamonds: round brilliant cut, measures approx 5.6 mm and is calculated in setting as 0.66 carats, G / H colour, VS clarity. Six eight cut diamonds total approx 0.12 carats. Carat weight calculated while diamonds are set and with the limits of the mounting.

Faintly stamped 10? IRID 900 PLAT. This ring has been tested and assessed as the common alloy of 90% Platinum and 10% Iridium, slightly different to the modern British standard of 95% / 5%.

Size: UK - M; US - 6 1/4; EU - 16 3/4. This ring can be sized between L / 5.75 and P / 7.75. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 6.2 mm wide and stands 5.2 mm tall off the finger.

Weighs 3.9 grams.
