Vintage diamond cluster ring designed as a flower. This diamond engagement ring features a six petalled flower. Seven diamonds form the flower with a diamond set in the centre in a star shape. A milgrain beaded edge outlines the start and additional engraving accents the top around the diamonds of the petal. Tapered shoulders are set with two roughly cut diamonds each and are outlined in milgrain beading. Circa 1930s - 1940s, British in origin.

The top of this ring is illusion set with fine and exquisite engraving around the diamonds. This type of style became popular in the late Art Deco to mid 20th century. Diamonds were becoming more available and more fashionable. Clever jewellers were making the most of their talents to make lovely glittery rings which would please any bride.

Stamped 18ct PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed 18 carat yellow gold with the diamonds set into a platinum top.
