Vintage synthetic single stone ring dating to the late 20th century. A large oval cut light blue spinel is set in four double claws. The gemstone is bright and lively, a gorgeous sky blue colour and perfect of adding a bit of a colourful pop to your day. The collet under the stone is lattice in design and slender tapered shoulder slope away into a D shape profile band. Circa 1980s, British in origin.
Spinel: lab created / synthetic measuring approx 18.15 mm by 13 mm and calculated as 12 carats within the limits of the mounting.
Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, Birmingham assay office, 1989.
