Art Deco diamond engagement ring in a lovely geometric design. Seven diamonds are set into the top and lined in a exquisite rows of milgrain beading. The centre diamond is held with small beaded double claws and lined in a double row of milgrain beading in a diamond shape. To the top and bottom are three diamonds, set into a chevron shape and accented with sparkly milgrain beading . These original Art Deco rings are getting more and more difficult to find. This one has a pinched shank, tapering up to the diamond set top. The gold band is slender and delicate, in keeping with the Art Deco era. Circa 1920s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 7, single cut, approx 0.10 carats together as estimated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 18ct PLAT inside the band. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the diamonds set into a platinum top.
