Retro amethyst single stone 9 carat gold ring. The oval cut amethyst is set in an eight claw basket with the claws tapering to a point under the gemstone. This is a simple design with wide cathedral style shoulders leading to a flat, squared shank. This piece dates to the 1980s. Amethyst is the birthstone for February.
