Vintage large shield shaped signet ring crafted in 9 carat yellow gold. This mid 20th century ring has a square top which is divided diagonally. One section is engraved in a quilted diamond pattern and the other with a section left blank for engraving initials or a personal inscription. Wide shoulders are tapered, giving this ring a chunky look and leading to the a plain D shape shank. Circa 1960s, British in origin.
Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1969.
Size: UK - Z+2.5; US - 13.75; EU - 22.7. This ring can be sized between V / 10.5 / 20,2 and Z+6 / 15.5 / 24,2. Resizing available from an additional fee.
Measures 12.8 mm wide by 1.6 mm deep at shield. 3.6 mm band.
