Large 9 carat gold periwinkle shell pendant with cultured pearl. This large pendant is puffed in shape, a classic shell design. The shell is textured in a ridged design like real ones and houses a little cultured pearl measuring approx 4.5 mm in diameter. This shell has likely been converted from another piece of jewellery. Circa mid 20th century.

In very good condition, slight discolouration on the back, likely from where it's been converted from other items of jewellery. This listing is for the shell pendant only, all other items shown are available separately.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold, which is between modern rose and yellow gold, though closer to yellow gold.
