Vintage 9 carat gold fancy link chain. Long lean open links are joined together with sets of three small rounded links. The trombone style links are long and elegant. Both ends of this chain are connected to small jump rings and this piece closes with a spring clasp. This is a medium weight chain with the longer links still keeping a narrower look. It looks fantastic worn alone or could easily accommodate a pendant or locket.
Two sets of stamps. An older 9ct stamped on the clasp and a newer full hallmark for 9 carat gold, Birmingham, 1967 on the terminating jump ring. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout. The gold is a light rose tone.
Measures 45.5 cm / 18 inches long, and approx 2.15 mm at the widest point.
Weighs 4.35 grams.
