Exquisite mid 20th century 22 carat gold and platinum engraved wedding ring. This band is a beauty! Crafted in 22 carat yellow gold, the band is faceted into an octagonal shape on the outside. Each of the flat sides of the octagon are engraved with a pair of Forget Me Not flower blossoms. The blossoms are lined in a single row of milgrain beading on two sides. On the pointed part of the octagon are platinum faceted beads. The beads are shaped into a pyramid style shape and are polished to a bright shine. Circa 1950s, British in origin.

Hallmarked for 22 carat gold, assayed in London, date letter for 1959. Also marked PLAT for the platinum inlays.

Measures 2.55 mm wide and rises 1.2 - 1.8 mm tall off the finger.
