Art deco diamond half hoop wedding ring. Seven old cut diamonds, slightly graduated in size, cover most of the top of the finger. This band curves around, following the shape of the finger and allowing the diamonds to catch the light. Each of the diamonds are bead set into small claws on a slender ring. The taper continues on the back side of the band. Circa 1920s - 1930s.
The inside retains a partial personal inscription, "E.J.P. to A..." The remainder is lost due to a previous resizing.
Diamonds: 7, graduated slightly in size, old single cuts and old European cuts totalling approx 0.18 ctw, in the near colourless and eye clean range as estimated within the limits of the mounting.
Stamped 10% IRID PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as platinum.
Size: UK - L.5; US - 6; EU - 16,5. This ring cannot be sized between K.5 / 5.5 / 16,1 and O.5 / 7.5. / 17.75. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 2.9 mm wide and 15.4 mm across. Rises 2.4 mm tall on the finger.
