Vintage engine turned drinks swizzle dating to the early to mid 20th century. Easy to wear and carry around, this is the perfect useful statement pendant! It makes a long, lean and eye catching design when worn so it can then be used when the occasion calls for it. The exterior is hexagonal in shape, adorned with an engine turned design all over. A collar, which sits near the bail, pushes down allowing revelling seven arms, the centre finished with a gold ball. The original purpose of this bar tool would have been to eliminate bubbles in champagne (yes, you read that correctly!), but today it's more common used as a wearable bar tool capable of becoming a conversation starter! Circa mid 1920s - 1940s.

The collar is a bit stiff to push though it does extend all the way open. There is a small dent near the bottom of slide, it doesn't effect it's use and wear and is mentioned for accuracy only.

Stamped 750 on the bail along with a maker's mark, "JF" I think. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold throughout.

Measures approx 86 mm / 3.4 inches long when closed extending to 137.5 mm / 5.4 inches when opened. This is on the larger side and heavy for a swizzle tool.

Weighs 8.1 grams.
