A sleek and stylish diamond engagement ring crafted in 14 carat white gold. Dating to the mid 20th century, a bright and sparkling 0.70 carat old European cut diamond glitters from between a pair of bar set tapered baguette cut diamonds. The old cut diamond is wonderful, set in a great fishtail triple claw design prongs. The step cut baguette diamonds are a great contrast to the centre diamond.

The diamond dates is late Victorian to early Art Deco while the mounting is about a generation or two later, circa 1940s. I love when it's clear that a family diamond has been reused for another engagement ring!

In excellent condition.

Diamonds: centre old European cut measuring approx 5.76 mm to 5.78 mm by 3.22 mm and calculated as 0.70 carats, K / L colour, VS clarity within the limits of the mounting.
