Late Victorian turquoise inset panel bracelet. This 15 carat gold bracelet is designed as a series of panels. Each panel shows off an eight petalled flower with each of the petals set with a single turquoise bead. The centre of the floral design is stepped up to a raised gold bead. Between each of the panels is an intertwined set of two rings which link the panels together. These gold rings are engraved with a rope style design. This bracelet fastens with a pin clasp. Three little bars fit together and the gold pin pushes into them, securing the bracelet. To remove the bracelet the edge of the pin must be pulled firmly outward. Circa 1890s, likely Continental European in origin.
Unidentified markings on the inside, back of the clasp. Tested as 15 carat gold.
Measures 18 cm / 7.08 inches long and is 10.9 mm wide.
Weighs 16.8 grams.
