Turquoise and old mine cut diamond gypsy set ring. This 18 carat yellow gold ring dates to the Victorian era. Rub over set into the widest part is a turquoise cabochon which is flanked by old mine cut diamonds. The taper on this ring curves beautifully, stylishly narrowing toward the back. Even at their smaller size, you can tell the diamonds aren't modern cuts. They sparkle wonderfully with their cushion shape and chunky facets. This is a wonderful Victorian ring, chunky yet comfortable. Circa late 19th century.

Turquoise: approx 5.4 mm by 4 mm.

Diamonds: 2, old mine cut, approx 1.8 mm - 1.9 mm each, approx 0.06 carats total weight.

Stamped 18ct, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.
