Antique sterling silver decorative collar necklace with large locket. Circular ridged links are accented with floral shaped discs with stars on them. Along the outside edge are leaf shape adornments which are engraved with a foliate style design. Both sides of this fancy link chain are connected to a large spring bolt clasp. From the bolt clasp is a large sterling silver locket engraved with a pair of morning glory flower blossoms. The back of the locket is unadorned. Circa 1880s, British in origin.

This item is in very good condition. The locket shuts tightly. Inside the locket lacks one frame and has no plastic or glass photo coverings. One of the leaf links looks to have been repaired. Spring bolt clasp is tight.

No visible marks, tested as sterling silver throughout.

Chain measures approx 43 cm / 17 inches long by 1.47 cm wide. Locket is approx 4.7 cm / 1.85 inches long including bail by 2.8 cm / 1.1 inches wide.

Piece weighs 26.4 grams.
