Antique rose cut diamond arrow brooch. A truly wonderful piece! The arrow head and fletching are set with rose cut diamonds. The diamond set ends are lined in delicate milgrain beading. Circa late 19th century..
The end of the pin has a notch in it, to open the pin, turn the head and fletching away from each other. This pushes up the hinge at the back and allows it to slide out. When facing the same way the notch and hinge keep the pin locked in place.
