Stunning antique pearl toi et moi ring crafted in 14 carat gold. The subtle detailing on this ring is just gorgeous. Two round cultured pearls of slightly different colours are held in sweetly curved gold claws. The pearls are set at an angle to each other in a bypass style. The gold shank curves up on either side of the larger cultured pearls, hugging those pearls.

Each of the shoulders is bead set with five small seed pearls. At the end of this row of pearls is a V, cut like the end of a ribbon. From the side an inset scroll supports the shoulders as it gets deep as it gets nearer to the larger pearls. Milgrain beading outlines the edges of the seed pearls on the shoulders. Circa late 19th century.

In good condition. The pearls show some light scratches to their nacre, this is in keeping with age and wear.

Pearls: 2 cultured, one with a sliver-grey tone and the other with an off-white tone, measure approx 7.4 mm to 7.6 mm. 5 seed pearls of approx 1.3 mm to 1.4 mm each.

Stamped K14. Professionally tested and assessed as 14 carat gold, which is yellow in colour.

Measures approx 16.45 mm wide at it sits on the finger, by 9.8 mm deep, 1.7 mm band.
