Victorian torpedo shaped drop earrings in bloomed 15ct gold. These long drop earrings are tapered in shape with an applied wire work in a filigree design. Kidney shaped ear wires are attached to a half sphere adorned with cannetille work. Swinging from this is a long torpedo shaped drop decorated pristine dotted wire work in a zigzag pattern with a flower design at the end. A small ball at the base of the drop completes the look. As is typical, these are puffed in shape meaning that they are hallow in the centre. Circa Victorian, late 19th century. There is a small repair to where the ear wire meets the top of one of the earrings.

Professionally tested and assessed as 15 carat gold with a higher carat gilt finish.

Measure approx 5,2 cm / 2 inches long and 9.6 mm wide at widest point.
