Antique engraved floral design sterling silver bangle bracelet. This wide bracelet has a stunning hand engraved single dog wood flower to the centre. A raised boarder frames the flower and it's flanking leaves. Additional leaves are engraved along the edges. At each of the corners is a sun ray design. The entire top half of this bangle is very ornately engraved and the level of detail is incredible. The back half of this bracelet is unadorned with a minor shallow dent in keeping with it's age and wear. This bangle is oval in shape so that the design stays on the top of the wrist. The closure is a tongue in groove style which makes an audible click. Circa late 19th century.

Stamped STERLING SILVER. This bracelet has a light gilt on the front giving it a slight rose gold sheen. The gilt it incredibly pale, hardly noticeable in person though the camera picked it up easily.

Measures approx 16.5 cm / 6.5 inches internal circumference. Shown on a wrist which measures approx 15.8 cm / 6.25 inches right above the wrist bone.

Measures approx 3.3 cm / 1.3 inch wide.
