Antique sterling silver trombone link Albert chain. This is always a coveted style and a great staple! Oblong links are a wonderful size, made of 2.1 mm rounded sterling wire. Between each of these longer links is a smaller single rounded link. At one end of this chain is a swivelling dog clip and the other terminates at a jump ring. The t-bar is connected to the centre rounded link. The oversized links are great and the dog clip can be fitted into any of the larger links should you wish to style this piece differently. Circa 1880s, British in origin.

Hallmarked for sterling silver with lions on the links and full marks including the date letter for 1884 on the centre ring which holds the t-bar. Professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver throughout.

Measures 44 cm / 17.25 inches in wearable length, oblong links are approx 26.5 mm long by 7 mm wide.
