Antique 9 carat gold knot earrings dating to the Victorian era. These earrings are wonderful! Squared profile wires are twisted into a lover's knot design. In the centre of each of the knots is a golden sphere. The knots swing from kidney shape ear wires with a little ball on their end right above where the knots hang. These are lightweight earrings, made hallow. Circa late 19th century, British in origin.

In very good condition with minor signs of use and wear in keeping with their age.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout. The gold is yellow in colour.

Measures approx 31 mm / 1.25 inches in total length by 13.9 mm / 0.55 inches wide.

Weighs 2.8 grams.
