A superb 9k antique long guard chain dating to the Victorian era. This 9ct long belcher link chain is smooth and simple in design. Very tactile! Each of the small links are rounded in shape, flowing from one link to the next. Both terminating ends of the chain are connected to a large jump ring and dog clip. This style of chain is great for layering! The length allows it to be looped around the neck two to three times. The dog clip allows a locket, pendant or other charms and adornments to be easily secured. Circa 1880s - 1900, British in origin.

Stamped for 9 carat on the jump ring and dog clip. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold through. The gold has a slightly rosy hue to it as is common in Victorian gold.

Measures approx 132 cm / 52 inches long (66 cm / 26 inches doubled) and is approx 2.5mm wide.
