Antique 22 carat gold wedding ring. This narrow width ladies wedding band is a D shape profile. The outside is domed, curved to the edges, with a flat interior. 22 carat gold is a rich, buttery shade and as is normal, it has a slightly redish tint to it's yellow colour. This is a simple, classic style which is plenty wide enough to wear alone or can be paired with another band or ring. It's width and size makes it suitable for a woman or a man who prefers a more slender band. Circa 1850s, British in origin.

Fully hallmarked for 22 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1853.

Size: UK - Q 1/2; US - 8 1/2; EU - 58. This ring has previously been resized and solder lines can be seen upon close inspection. Sizing available for an additional fee.
